Come out to Good Work's monthly gathering Saturday March 12th in Raleigh and learn how to create a community based edible landscape with Bountiful Backyards!  Fred Woodward's vision for a sustainable neighborhood is an inspiring and replicable example of place based community  action-ism: where people grow food and community where they live.  This Good Work gathering will bring folks together in the garden to:

• swap and learn planting techniques for fruit and nut trees, berry bushes, medicinal, pollinator and annual vegetable gardens
• combine beautiful, useful perennials  to create gardens built for beauty, human nutrition, and reconnection to the places we live
• set up a replicable home composting system with worms and waste
• learn how to grow a tea garden  
• meet and reconnect with your Good Work friends, allies, and collaborators of the past, present, and future
